During the first session, you will identify one of your "defining moments." This is a moment where you put your unique flavor of Imposter Syndrome together.
These moments are not dramatic or traumatic. They often happen between the ages of nine to twelve when we experience not fitting in or disappointing someone in authority.
At the moment when the brain experiences an unwanted emotion like shame, embarrassment, or disappointing someone else, it figures out a strategy to make sure that it (YOU) never experiences that emotion again. That strategy is really your superpower. It is actually a way of being (we are human beings after all) that you use all the time to succeed in life.
JUST LIKE MY CLIENT JESSICA SATO
When she was young, she tried on a pair of white jeans that her Aunt told her she was "too big" to wear. Jessica felt ashamed and embarrassed by her Aunt's comment. Did she put those pants back? Oh no, She laid down on the floor to shimmy into them. She struggled but succeeded because she was DRIVEN to show her Aunt she could put those pants on.
Jessica became DRIVEN as a way to avoid feeling embarrassed or ashamed in the future. Being DRIVEN is Jessica's superpower (see how Imposter Syndrome can become your superpower?)
Jessica is incredibly driven and successful to this day. But guess what? She WAS NEVER satisfied with her success. She kept reaching for the next rung on the ladder and never truly felt fulfilled. UNTIL the Masterclass.
Together we identified and disrupted the brain pattern that her upset 9-year-old self put in place. NOW, Jessica can choose to be driven or not. Before, it was all automatic. NOW Jessica is fulfilled. AND NOW Jessica owns a white pair of jeans. Check 'em out yourself in this photo. Oh yay!
Okay, I get what a "defining moment" is....
but what exactly is the Masterclass?
